OFFICER BIO:
David got into Discworld aged 12, when a well-meaning relative gave him one of the books as a present 'because it had pretty colours on the cover'. Despite his natural predisposition to avoid bright colours, he gave it a go - and was quickly hooked. Many, many books (and 7 assorted Discworld Conventions) later, he is still amazed by how many lovely nutters, sorry, Discworld fans he encounters. At the 2013 Irish Discworld Convention, he helped Amber 'The Artful Nudger' Grundy make a deck of Werewolf cards, and thus got roped in to design some more things this time around.
David has a great deal of experience of lurking (usually in the vicinity of bars), and likes to practice regularly. He is quite good at quizzes (especially Discworld-themed ones) and has a fondness for cheese and hats, though preferably not in combination.
