ABOUT THE HOTEL
The 4th Irish Discworld Convention was held in Cork, at the Cork International Hotel.
It's quirky, colourful, comfortable and we think Discworld fans feel right at home here. The staff we've met so far have been wonderfully helpful. And as bookish folk, I think you'll all appreciate the bookshelves in the lobby and the bar.
The hotel is in a great location, just outside of Cork city in the south west of Ireland: 3 minutes on foot from the Airport itself, and there are regular buses to and from town. It is fully wheelchair accessible, has a kid's club, a hairdressers', and a private cinema. There's a bar menu, lobby menu and restaurant, as well as 24-hour room service.
Free parking is also available to all residents.
